About Skulthai Co.,Ltd

Founded by Mr. Sawaeng Tiawphaibul, Skulthai Co., Ltd. has been in operation in Thailand since 1946, providing the highest quality building materials and accessories. The first major product line was the SCHLAGE cylindrical lock, imported from the United States, which was complemented by a broad range of quality consumer goods.

The high economic growth in 1950s dramatically boosted up the demand for building materials and accessories, allowing Skulthai to grow and increase its product lines. In 1972, the fourth daughter of Saweng Tiawphaibul, Mrs. Chitra Tanchawal joined the company and has assumed the title of Managing Director since 1975. Three years later, Mr. Somsak Tiawphaibul, the family's youngest son, joined the company and was appointed a General Manager.

Due to the economic boom in 1987, the construction business started to flourish and that has made Skulthai to be able to establish its affiliated company, Skulphaibul Impex, to be more responsive to the market demands at all levels. The new company's product lines include Skulthai Lock, Von Duprin panic devices, LCN door closers, Saima anti-robbery security devices, Wahl clippers, etc.

In 1990, Skulthai decided to expand to the building supplies manufacturing business and, therefore, establish Great Deal Co., Ltd. The company was formed to ensure the customers of the top quality products at competitive prices and began to manufacture SCL Steel Doors. Great Deal's product line was rounded out by Sport-related equipment such as Hussey's telescopic seating and arena chairs, Robbins indoor sports flooring, Decro 2000 spray-on-concrete paving system, etc.

Entering the export market in 1990, Skulthai established Winma Corporation to market Skulphaibul Impex's various products. Focusing on its core products: Patch Fittings, Pull Handles, Door Rails, Shower Hinges and Door Closers, Winma has been successfully exporting the building hardware worldwide.

In the year 2001, Skulthai Co., Ltd. decided to move into the new era as a solution provider for Security and Safety. New innovation and technology such as Biometric Access Control and Recognition Systems have been added to our various product lines for maximum security.
